
Vermilionville to host exhibit honoring victims of 2016 floods
Vermilionville will open an exhibit this Saturday to honor the victims and commemorate the historic 2016 flood that devastated parts of Acadiana. The storm dumped over 20 inches of rain, causing the Vermilion River to overflow and affecting 21 parishes across Louisiana with 7 trillion gallons of water.
